Development Engineer Mobile Communications (f/m/d) in Paderborn

Your Challenge

  • Maintenance and further development of our conformance test solutions for mobile devices
  • Implementation of 3GPP-specified conformance test scenarios using 4G and 5G mobile communications protocols
  • Continuous improvement of your knowledge of mobile communication technologies such as LTE, CAT-M1, NB-IoT & 5G
  • In-depth understanding of the development environments of leading mobile network simulator vendors such as Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu and Keysight
  • Constantly improve your competencies and responsibilities

Your Profile

  • Academic degree (Bachelor / Master) in communications/electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • Practical experience with UMTS and LTE technologies
  • Very good software development skills in C++ and C#
  • Knowledge of 3GPP protocol stacks of UMTS, LTE, and IoT technologies
  • High motivation to master the 5G standard
  • Experience interpreting log files and debugging in complex software development environments
  • Knowledge in the creation of automated software tests
  • Business fluent English
  • The following experiences are desirable, but not a prerequisite:
    • Version control systems
    • Build & continuous integration environments
    • Visual Studio integrated development environment
    • Agile collaboration (SCRUM)
