Design Validation

When a new interface is designed it needs to be checked against the requirements from the very beginning. The general functionality of such interfaces can be verified against standards defined in test specifications. When it comes to designing and optimizing contactless interfaces and integrating them into door handles, machines, and smartphones, however, this is a multi-level development process with several individual requirements. For example, the actual shape of the magnetic field needs to be visualized. Only the appropriate measurement tools can validate a robust interface design comprehensively.

Applications using contactless data transmission technologies like NFC are based on the reliability and robustness of the interfaces. The design of antennas, their controllers, and their integration into the respective environment (for example, door handles, readers, smartphones) is key for the positive user experience in the field.
