In the context of introducing the German health card, the gematik – the German national health IT body – required an integration of the COMPRION Prove 2 smart card simulator hardware into their existing simulation environment of the second-generation health card (“gematik G2 Simulation”) to improve the simulation capabilities. COMPRION solved this task by developing an I/O implementation and a .NET/Java Bridge for Prove 2.
