3GPP, the 3rd Generation Partnership Project is a collaboration between groups of telecommunications associations. The initial scope of 3GPP is to develop, maintain and enlarge specifications for 3G and mobile systems and the related testing needs. 3GPP specifications and studies are contribution-driven, by member companies. The 3GPP specification work is done in Technical Specification Groups (TSGs) and Working Groups (WGs).

COMPRION's Know-How & Expertise to 3GPP Testing
COMPRION is an active member of 3GPP, supporting the development and maintenance of core specifications and associated test specifications for smart card applications and the smart card interface of the mobile terminal in CT Working Group 6.
