Their main task is to identify, develop, and publish specifications which facilitate the secure and interoperable deployment and management of multiple embedded applications on secure chip technology. The resulting specifications are adopted globally across various sectors, for instance finance, mobile telecommunications, government, healthcare, retail, and public transport.

COMPRION has been an active GlobalPlatform member since 2011 and has been contributing to all GlobalPlatform's Committees, focusing on Secure Element Compliance. We take part in the association’s compliance program and offer GlobalPlatform-qualified test tools.
