The most popular conformance test platforms for certification of mobile devices
In order to make sure that your device is prepared for 5G NR operation in standalone (SA) mode, COMPRION SIMfony MT8000A adds 5G SA USIM/USAT testing capabilities. And you can find this solution already registered at GCF and PTCRB as test platform TP226. COMPRION SIMfony MT8000A consists of the new Anritsu 5G Radio Communication Test Station MT8000A and the (U)SIM simulator UT³ Platform. Regarding 3GPP TS 31.121 Rel-15, the GCF WI-508-NR and PTCRB RFT 508 so far list the following tests:

• Clause 15.1 "Authentication procedure for EAP-AKA' "

Because both, the licenses for the COMPRION modules and for the test benches of the Anritsu MT8000A are stored in the Device Test Center, handling is simpler now: For example, if your MT8000A is out for repair or calibration, it is now possible to exchange the Anritsu MT8000A against another with the same configuration. But it works without the need for a new license related to the new network simulator hardware. This way you can directly continue your testing which saves efforts and costs.
If you need to prepare your device for 5G NR operation in standalone (SA) mode, simply add COMPRION SIMfony CMX500. Hence you benefit from extensive 5G SA USIM/USAT testing capabilities. This way you work on the test platform TP227, listed at GCF and PTCRB. Now, the new R&S® CMX500 Radio Communication Tester works with the (U)SIM simulator UT³ Platform. Regarding 3GPP TS 31.121 Rel-15, the GCF WI-508-NR and PTCRB RFT 508 so far list the following tests:

First test cases validated for 3GPP TS 31.121 USAT 5G Test Bench Stage 1!
Now, handling for repair or maintenance is simpler. This is because licenses for the COMPRION modules as well as for the COMPRION SIMfony CMX500 are stored in the Device Test Center (Platform Software). If your network simulator is out for repair, it can directly be replaced by a device of the same configuration. Unlike before, this does not require any new license. Hence, testing can continue on directly saving efforts and costs
Since long COMPRION SIMfony MD8475A is one of the most commonly used test platforms for mobile device testing. If you need to gain market access through compliance to 2G/3G or LTE, prove it comfortably with Test Platform TP151. SIMfony MD8575A consists of UT³ Platform, the Anritsu signalling tester MD8475A plus the corresponding software.
More important, it saves time with comfortable automation functions like Terminal Application Provider and remote control. Alternatively, you can save money with the so-called pre-conformance variant installed on Prove 2 instead of UT³ Platform. In-house conformance evaluation parallel to the product development reduces the risk to fail the approval test and the costs for the test sessions in a test house significantly.

GCF and PTCRB list it as configuration version of TP151. To make their network simulators future proof, Anritsu has launched MD8475B. Hence COMPRION offers a comfortable migration path.

Assure 4G connectivity of your IoT solutions with SIMfony CMW 500.
