Compliance Testing - SIM, eSIM, Server, Device

Conformity with the GSMA eSIM ecosystem

With the migration to eSIM technology, the idea of connecting everything to everything is taking shape. The GSMA has established tests and certifications to push functional interoperability in cooperation with selected industry bodies. In order to become part of the closed GSMA eSIM ecosystem, all applicants – meaning eSIMS, servers, and devices – must prove that they meet the GSMA requirements. Thus making sure that the individual players authorize each other as "interlocutors", who are able to communicate. The GSMA as "gatekeeper" of the eSIM ecosystem requires the potential participants to certify their products.

Covering All Tests to Obtain Compliance

Test specifications are bulky documents with dry content, changing regularly. Nobody really wants to go through the specs to keep up to date. The good news is that you don't need to! We have already done this and have implemented all test requirements in reliable test solutions. Be it for the eSIM, its interfaces, or other entities: Based on our Connectivity Test Center, we offer a complete set of test benches for the eSIM, its interfaces, and all other entities, no matter if you are part of the M2M or consumer devices environment. Our test packages are compliant with the latest standards of 3GPP, Trusted Connectivity Alliance (former SIMalliance), GSMA, and ETSI.

You Are Facing Interoperability Problems?

An eSIM profile that works reliably with a particular eSIM causes problems with another vendor's eSIM? Ensuring that all components work reliably with each other is a lengthy, iterative process. Even if you've tested eSIMs and eSIM profiles very carefully, interoperability errors can occur. We already have an extensive library of compliance tests covering all available standards and offer various tools that can help you to make your eSIM or profile truly interoperable.

eSIM Test Profile Service

Testing market-ready devices with eSIMs does only work in a secured network. That is a GSMA SAS certified infrastructure. The eSIM Test Profiles Service enables connects your eSIM via mobile device to such a system. More important this works on pay-per-use basis by services credits. A fully flexible systems working with TCA interoperability test profiles or your custom ones!
