Analyzing SIM card data is now even easier! The new version 4.0 of File Tree Express offers extended translation capabilities to approximately 100 additional Elementary Files (EFs) from the latest ETSI/3GPP specifications.
What is File Tree Express
File Tree Express is a powerful tool for analyzing and editing SIM card data. It allows users to scan smart cards, save their contents for offline analysis, and create custom file trees. Thanks to built-in hexadecimal translation, File Tree Express enables efficient interpretation and editing of Elementary Files in a human-readable format.

File Tree Express is widely used by application providers, eUICC and mobile device manufacturers, M(V)NOs, service providers, and test labs.
Extended EF Coverage in File Tree Express Version 4.0
Instead of raw hexadecimal data, File Tree Express provides enhanced human-readable translations, making it easier for test engineers to analyze SIM card data efficiently. With File Tree Express 4.0, EF translation coverage has significantly improved:
- CSIM: 100% coverage
- ISIM: 100% coverage
- UICC: 83% coverage
- USIM: 93% coverage (previously 58%)
This means an overall translation coverage increase from 65% to 91%, with 40% more translated EFs than before. The biggest leap comes in the USIM sector – a key element in today's mobile communication.
