Supports the extended operating volume introduced in NFC Forum Release 15 – a key step for modern automotive and access use cases.
COMPRION announces the official validation of its NFC Forum Test Solution for CR15/TR15.0. The solution is based on the proven UT³ Platform, the Device Test Center software, the new CR15 Analog Test Bench, and a Kawasaki industrial robot for high-precision positioning and reproducible measurements. With the successful validation, NFC Forum CR15 certification is now available at the IB-Lenhardt and DEKRA Testing and Certification, S.A.U. test laboratories.
Ready for CR15’s Extended Operating Volume
NFC Forum Release 15 extends the permissible NFC range from 0.5 cm to up to 2 cm, enabling significantly more convenience, usability, and design flexibility. This change was largely initiated by the automotive industry—especially for digital car access. COMPRION actively supports this shift by ensuring that manufacturers can reliably develop and test their products within the extended operating volume.

Preparing for CR15 Product Qualification
In addition to the full conformance configuration, COMPRION also offers a cost-effective pre-conformance solution consisting of CL Verify, CL Quantify, CL Amplify, and an MG400 robot. This option is ideal for manufacturers who want to prepare early for CR15 or optimize their internal development and debugging processes.
