Employees build XXL marble run with teamwork and creativity
This year again, COMPRION had invited their employees and their families to a summer party. This was the second time that it took place on the new COMPRION premises in Paderborn. As usual, the event was opened at noon with a short address by the COMPRION CEOs Dr. Torsten Maeser and Michael Wehmeier.
Several food trucks and beverage stations took care of the culinary well-being completed by an extensive cake buffet. But, at summer temperatures, it was not only eating and talking. Besides different play offers for children, the joint building of an XXL marble run was the absolute highlight of the event.
Young and old teamed up at separate stations, each team being responsible for one section of the marble run. They had different kinds of hoses, tubes, and sections made from different materials at hand, using cordless screwdrivers and duct tape for assembling. The sections were then connected to an XXL marble run. “This was really impressive, watching the marble rolling over a distance of 50 m and firing a confetti cannon at the end. And it was fun as well,” Susanne Wecker, member of the marketing team, is pleased to note.
This is another good example for an awesome result achieved by different people with different skills working hand in hand.
