Three days full of testing eSIM profiles against eUICCs have completed. A total of 24 companies ranging from MNOs/MVNOs to eUICC manufacturers, device OEMs and test companies were incredibly busy helping operators test their profiles against all the different eUICCs.
The eSIM ecosystem is still evolving, so it was not surprising that all participants were eager to track down and resolve even the tiniest interoperability issues. This shows, how important events like this are for detecting these problems then working on robust solutions, so that the whole industry benefits from globally interoperable and reliable eSIM technology.
Gary Waite, eSIM expert for GSMA, said: “With this event targeting high levels of profile interoperability across the ecosystem, we’re ensuring the success of eSIM as it scales globally.”
At the end of each exhausting, yet productive day, there was always time left for lively technical discussions and to jointly enjoy a well-deserved after-work beer!
