Together with the nature conservancy association Naturschutzbund (NABU) Paderborn, COMPRION has established a meadow orchard
On November 10, 2022, employees of COMPRION GmbH planted twenty fruit trees on the company's own meadow. "We celebrated our 20th company anniversary this year and wanted to make a contribution to nature conservation and the preservation of biodiversity by planting the 20 trees," explains Dr. Torsten Maeser, Managing Director of COMPRION.
The planting campaign was expertly accompanied by Dirk Tornede, head of the NABU-Natur-Infozentrum Senne. NABU will also be responsible for pruning the fruit trees in the coming years. Dirk Tornede is pleased about the cooperation: "Turning a lawn into a flowering orchard is an important contribution to helping endangered animal and plant species. At the same time, the green space is enhanced as an attractive environment for employees as well."
