For all those, who work with eSIMs, we have good news: With COMPRION eUICC Profile Manager, it is easy to load profiles to the eUICC quickly – within seconds.
“Before, it took several days for the network operator (MNO) to find out if the newly created profile worked correctly. The profile requirements were sent to the card manufacturer, who implemented them on the card and then returned the card to the MNO, who then tested the new card profile against different devices in the network,“ explains Dr. Frank Oberhokamp, eUICC Product Manager at COMPRION.
Now, the MNO can transfer the profile to the eSIM in the device (smartphone, smartwatch, tablet) by using eUICC Profile Manager – with only a PC.
The eSIM profile contains all the data that is required for operating a device in the network and for applications and services (for example, eCall) as well as for remote maintenance.
