With the latest update to COMPRION's eUICC Profile Creator (R1.5), users can now create eUICC profile packages based on the Trusted Connectivity Alliance (TCA) Specification Version 3.4.1. The update ensures full compatibility with the specification released in May 2025—including support for the new Slice Subscriber Identity Module (SSIM or Slice SIM), as defined in 3GPP TS 31.105 Release 18.
What’s New?
TCA Version 3.4.1 extends the interoperable eUICC profile package format with features specifically designed for the requirements of 5G network slicing. A key enhancement is the introduction of the SSIM application, as specified in 3GPP TS 31.105.
With this update, users of eUICC Profile Creator R1.5 can now generate profile packages that fully incorporate the new specification elements—from SSIM-specific file systems and Elementary Files (EFs) to new Application Identifiers (AIDs) and Application Protocols.
